Please join us for a fun family day at Edaville Railroad in Carver, MA.
Ellis D Atwood gave this historic amusement park its name his initials (E.D.A). He started this railroad by purchasing most of the surviving equipment from Maine’s once expansive network of two-foot gauge rails in 1946 and 1947 then had them trucked south to Carver. He built a railroad 5½ miles around his 1800 acre plantation of cranberries, using the trains to service his bogs as well as hauling paying visitors through the bogs for sighting, creating the “FAMILY FUN PARK”.
Now, Jon Delli Priscoli purchased the 250 acres in 2002. You will see how the park has grown and will want to return to see the outcome.
LUNCH IS ON YOUR OWN. There is many places to eat: Choo-Choo Barbecue, KC’s Café, Whistle Stop, Hobo Eats, the Candy Depot and of course, the Gift Shop.
All rides, attractions and Train are included in the admission. There is a lot of walking around the grounds.
We will be there to enjoy the park for at least 3-4 hours.
